This site is dedicated to serving the officiating community
of the USA Hockey Mid-American District. Inside you will find
many different types of information, from seminars to message boards
where you can interact with other officials in the District and USA
Hockey. There is plenty of information on how to either become
an official or how to become a better one. Registered officials
can also find out what their current registration status is and even
view the results of their tests.

New Rules 2007 - 09
USA Hockey has just completed the Annual Congress with the Board of Directors voting on the new rule changes. I have put the rule changes in the download section of this website. The one major rule change is tag up offside for High School registered teams only. The immediate off sides will be enforced for all other divisions.

High School vs Midget tag up
After a lengthy discussion the Youth Council and High School Section has determined that if a registered High School team is playing a registered Midget or Bantam team the teams will play immediate off sides not tag up. This policy shall be enforced according to USA Hockey and the above sections.
